Draper have been linked with many different awards and accreditations over the years some of which are legally required and some of which have been appointed due to excellence. The following below are the current acccreditations of Draper Tools and the information regarding each of them.

UKAS - United Kingdom Accrediation Service

This body awards government backed accreditation to companies or services that follow internationally agreed standards, the certificates that they parade and the quality of testing, inspection and calibration within themselves.

When this is displayed it relies on giving the customer, user a certain trust that can be relied upon.

SGS - Society of General Surveillance

SGS is the the world's leading inspection, testing, verification and certification company and is recognized as being the global benchmark for integrity and quality.

The SGS Mark is not only awarded to trades in consumer products but also agriculture, mining, petroleum industries and government bodies.

VDE - Association for Electrical, Electronic, & Information Technologies

VDE is an asssociation that deals directly with electrical, electronic and information technologies.

An important aim of the VDE is consumer protection and maximum safety while handling electrotechnical products. Standards, safety research and product testing are traditional tasks of the VDE in pace with the progress of technology.

CE Marking

CE marking is a declaration by the manufacturer that the product meets all the appropriate provisions of the relevant legislation implementing certain European Directives.

CE marking gives companies easier access into the European market to sell their products without adaptation or rechecking. The initials "CE" do not stand for any specific words but are a declaration by the manufacturer that his product meets the requirements of the applicable European Directive(s).

BSI - British Standards Institution

VDE is an asssociation that deals directly with electrical, electronic and information technologies.

BSI British Standards is the UK's National Standards Body (NSB) and was the world's first. It represents UK economic and social interests across all of the European and international standards organizations and through the development of business information solutions for British organisations of all sizes and sectors.

British Standards works with manufacturing and service industries, businesses, governments and consumers to facilitate the production of British, European and international standards.
